Forward unto VLogging

Well i’ve hinted at the idea that WSAG might be dipping into the realm of Video Logging for quite some time now but a combination of stage fright … well e-stage fright and the general lack of video editing skills and tools tended to ward me off.

Now with WeSuckAtVLogging registered and a Modestly Priced Webcam ordered i’ve decided to cast myself into the void. I’m a blogger after all, clearly words are just the pictures of yesterday.

Also worth noting is that I’ve set up the WSAG.com email forwarding service, my contact is james@wesuckatgames.com, Mark can share his if he wants and anything else goes into a generic Gmail account set up for purpose.

I’ve yet to ask Dach or Icefox (still a poster here?) if they want it, but its very much just for show anyway.

Mark has said he might join me as a VLogger, but says I have to go first. So expect an intro video pretty much as soon as I get the gear, and my first Video Rant some time next week.

Site Stuff

Yes I have changed the template to one of the default Blogger ones and No I have no intentions of designing or stealing one to replace it.

You see, for some bizarre reason, the other template hates FireFox and any derivitive there-of so really it had to go.

I am doing something in the new site department, but don’t bet on anything soon.

And yes I know updates have been slow … Fuck you, i’ve been busy, i’ll try and do some stuff this week. Those of you who read NRT will have noticed the same down times, i’ll try.

Ps. Heres a video of Left 4 Dead, personally I think it looks awesome and it is getting a 360 release. Expect to hear more from us about this.

Small Updatery 20/10/07

I haven’t forgotten about you almighty readers! But the Royal Mail seems to have entirely forgotten about me. I am actually waiting on Warriors Orochi which I am to review for Xbox Elite, and from that I was going to post something relevant to review writing.

But well, Royal Mail are cunts. What can I say?

Also, I was planning to have had The Orange Box by now, and I would be ranting and raving about how it’s such awesome value. But alas, I went to see Jimmy Carr last night (awesome) and haven’t had a chance to purchase it.

But I shall do that now and you shall have your Orange Box post by tomorrow evening.

You may have noticed (you probably didn’t) that we are now officially a Dot Com website.

But don’t worry! None of your bookmarks will be broken!

.blogspot.com and .co.uk all end up here anyway!

However, in the process we lost the .blogger image hosting that was holding all of our Template images together … So for now i’ve photobucketed them.

If they break or whatever, let me know and i’ll sort them out when I can.

WSAG Root Admin

New Template

Well I say new, but veteran readers might actually recognise this from ages and ages ago.

I pinched the Template again then made the adjustments required to make it a little more readable.

See now, I really like it, but not everyone (Mark) does so here is a little poll so you can have your say!

Also, in the near future I’ll be revamping the Categories/Labels for this site, meaning i’ll have to trawl through over 100 Posts and normalise all of them, won’t that be exciting?

Things on the to-do list include sorting out font tweaks, adding links and the comment of whenever to the sidebar again and actually drumming up some content.

I Have Returned!

Much like how curry will always come back to haunt you. But this curry asked for his full admin privileges and got them. And will not abuse them. Like people on another site. About crap games. Called Elemental Temple.

More stuff soon, but first I shall change a few things around the place, which has become stagnant with inactivity.

I also quit WoW… when you’re not playing due to a complete loss of passion why keep paying the subscription?

Anyway, i’ve permissed him – as a returning partner – to make sweeping changes to the layout and such changes are coming.

We are even considering leaving Blogger, because you are fat and slow … like Windows Vista.

Closing Down Offer

Well Mark has flaked out on another project; so this is an open invitational.

If you want to help write articles for WSAG then get in touch with me!

I’m looking for several new contributors to keep things going; I personally don’t have alot of time these days – Barely enough to play, let alone write about, games.

If you email me, register your interest via a Comment or (preferably) show your interest on the forum by post or PM then I will sort out your posting account so you can get started straight away.

The only requirements being that your posts should try to be atleast somewhat relevant to gaming and other popular media forms.

Should nobody register such interest / we don’t keep a reasonable level of activity up – I will just close WSAG down.

I did however start a little personal blog called Nobody Reads This, the .co.uk Domain should forward correctly by tomorrow.

I hope to hear from some of you soon.

This new layout is absolutely nothing to do with me.

This is all Mark’s doing; Good or Bad, leave us your comment or post in this thread on the forums.

I am assured it is a work in progress; but i’m not going to fix it … I’m having nothing to do with it.

I was perfectly happy before.

Posting will once again be slow whilst I get my exams out of the way … in fact … I should’ve gone to bed hours ago. Whoops.
